Oleksandr Shabanov worked as a senior foreman at the MARIUPOL MACHINING AND REPAIR PLANT before the war. But after the Russian invasion, he was forced to leave his hometown, which was occupied by the enemy.
From the first days of the war, Metinvest paid his wages, supporting him and his wife in a difficult situation. As part of the “Saving Lives” project, Oleksandr also received help from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
And thanks to the Metinvest Career Center, today he is at KAMET-STEEL, has a job in his metallurgical profession and lives in a city with a calm sky.
