Humanitarian project Saving Lives has transferred the first batch of humanitarian aid for people in Avdiivka.
Six thousand humanitarian aid packages are intended for vulnerable citizens, such as single mothers, children with disabilities, families with many children, as well as those who cannot be evacuated from the warzone.
The packages include pasta, flour, grains, oil, canned foods, sugar, and condensed milk. The contents of the packages meet the caloric value recommendations of the World Health Organisation.
Furthermore, Saving Lives project has created a strategic reserve of food packages for town residents.
We remind that Saving Lives project is funded by SCM Group's Metinvest and DTEK in coordination with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
Notably, Metinvest Group arranged over 6,000 accommodations for IDPs in the areas of its operations. People get shelter, hot meals, clothing, household items, and sanitary products, as well as receive medical and psychological assistance.
