As part of the Saving Lives initiative, Metinvest Group and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation have handed over 5,000 food packages to the most vulnerable residents of Kamianske.
The Saving Lives humanitarian project launched by Metinvest Group and DTEK, in coordination with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, strives to prevent a humanitarian disaster in Ukraine. The initiative builds up strategic reserves of essential goods and provides assistance to local residents of the cities and towns where the companies operate, such as Kamianske, Zaporizhia, Avdiivka, Pokrovsk, and Myrnohrad. To date, more than 40,000 people have already received food, medicines, and personal hygiene products from the project.
The Saving Lives has recently delivered to Kamianske 5,000 more food packages to be distributed among the most vulnerable residents: people with disabilities, large families, low-income families, single mothers, etc.
“This support is of great value for large families, because many do not even have a stable income during the war. I’m a mother of three children. I sincerely want to thank Metinvest, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, and local authorities for humanitarian assistance and care about us,” said Kateryna, a resident of Kamianske.
We remind that the Saving Lives humanitarian project has recently expanded the range of assistance. In addition to food, the initiative will deliver medicines and consumables to Ukrainian hospitals. The first batch of assistance was handed over to a military hospital in Zaporizhia and a local emergency hospital in Kamianske a few days ago.
