Residents of Pokrovsk to receive 13,000 food packages from the Saving Lives project

The Saving Lives humanitarian project has sent humanitarian aid packages to the residents of Pokrovsk located near the area of hostilities. These 13,000 food packages are intended, first of all, for socially vulnerable people who could not leave the town, including single mothers, large families, disabled people, and WW2 veterans. The packages include pasta, flour, grains, canned foods, sugar, and condensed milk. The contents of the packages meet the caloric value recommendations of the World Health Organisation.
Locals have already received over 3,000 packages. In addition, the project stocked up strategic food reserves for the town. According to Ruslan Trebushkin, mayor of Pokrovsk, many residents refuse to leave because they hope that the war will end soon.
Earlier, the Saving Lives project handed over 6,000 humanitarian aid packages to the residents of Avdiivka.
