Donetsk Regional State Administration expresses gratitude to Saving Lives project for effective response to the humanitarian crisis

The Donetsk Regional Civil Military Administration has expressed gratitude in an official letter to the Saving Lives project run by SCM businesses. The letter noted that the initiative provides residents of Donetsk Oblast with a significant amount of humanitarian assistance.

In particular, the region received food and other essentials to support locals who suffer from the impact of Russia’s military aggression.

“We are grateful for your civic involvement at this difficult time for our country when we defend the right of the Ukrainian nation to exist, at a time when the Russian Federation continues a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, which is an act of aggression and a major violation of the norms, including the norms of international humanitarian law,” stated Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration.

Also, the Administration has expressed their hope that the Saving Lives initiative continues to help overcome the humanitarian disaster in Ukraine.

We remind that residents of Avdiivka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast have already received assistance from the project. The initiative distributed 19,000 food packages among locals and stocked up a strategic food reserve for the towns.

Earlier, SCM’s Saving Lives project received letters of thanks from Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and the Ministry of Infrastructure for helping thousands of Ukrainians.
