The Saving Lives humanitarian project launched by SCM businesses has opened a PayPal account. So, it has become even easier to support the charity initiative of Metinvent and DTEK and help the residents near the front line.
Earlier all donations could be made only by bank transfer. With PayPal the process is more simple and much quicker, and thus it can bring in more donors. 250 million active customer accounts in 56 currencies trust their money to PayPal in 203 markets around the world. To support the project, go to: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/FundacjaRDR.
The initiative has collected €625,000 within the last two months, including €120,000 from employees of Metinvest, one of the initiative organisers. Overall, the project has received support from 88 companies from around the world, from Europe to Oceania.
The Saving Lives project has already helped 65,000 Ukrainians. It supplies basic necessities, food, and medicines to the communities and towns near the front line. Also, it helps build up the reserve stocks at the supporting cities: Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianka, Pokrovsk, and Avdiivka. The project goal is to prevent the humanitarian catastrophe in the areas of hostilities.
