Medicine for Ukrainians: Saving Lives project starts supplying medicines on the ground

The Saving Lives project run by SCM businesses has expanded its humanitarian effort, starting to buy and supply medicines and medical equipment for the war affected areas. Medical supplies are intended for both military and civil medical facilities. The project has collected over €140,000 to help save lives and health of thousands of Ukrainian residents.

The donations to FUNDACJA RAZEM DAMY RADE – DO IT TOGETHER, which is a part of Saving Lives project, have already covered the following:

• Sterile medical gloves - 22,050 pairs
• Non-sterile gloves - 4,570 packages
• Catheters - 2,520 items
• IV catheters -10,500 items
• Surgical sutures - 12,746 packages

The overall cost of medical supplies is €137,644. The equipment will be delivered to a military hospital of Southern Region Military Medical Clinic Centre (Zaporizhia) and Kamianske Municipal First Aid Hospital.
The Head of Saving Lives project Oleksandr Vyshniakov notes that they will keep expanding the list of medicines and medical supplies (range, volumes, and geography of drug supplies):

"We plan to supply medicines and equipment to the key hospitals of partner towns of our project: Avdiivka, Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, and Pokrovsk. We are closely cooperating with local military and civil administrations and we know what they need on the spot. We will do everything we can to meet the needs of our doctors and their patients. We are grateful to everyone who continues to help and send money to help us run the charity project".
