SCM businesses' Saving Lives humanitarian initiative enters the Responsible Country ranking, a list of the top wartime social cases. Voted by readers of the MMR (Marketing Media Review) project, it was highly recognised in the Corporate Charity Foundation nomination.
The Responsible Country special project is an almanac of corporate social responsibility in 2022. It highlights the best wartime initiatives of the Ukrainian businesses helping civilians, the army, and the country. MMR readership chose the best from among 80+ successful projects.
The ranking authors emphasise the scale and versatility of the aid provided by Saving Lives – from helping Ukrainians with food, essentials, and medicines to prosthetic treatment for war victims and improvement of emotional health of employees.
"We are grateful to the MMR project and its readership for their support and recognition. Winning this prestigious nomination means that Ukrainians see and appreciate our efforts to help people and the country in these dark times. More than 400,000 civilians in the frontline areas have already benefited from the Saving Lives's aid: from the most vulnerable categories to our employees and their families, who keep working daily to bolster the national economy against all the odds. We keep on expanding the scope and geography of aid, launching new areas, and already work to plan the post-war reconstruction of the country. We will support people as long as they need it. After our victory, we will do everything we can to help the country revive as soon as possible," the Saving Lives team states.
The ranking of the best cases 2022 also features Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front, a military initiative seeking to help save the lives and health of Ukrainian defenders and help the country withstand and win.
