Well-known French professor joins the Programme Council of the Saving Lives humanitarian project

An outstanding French scientist, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Manuel Tunon De Lara has become a member of the Programme Council of FUNDACJA RAZEM DAMY RADE – DO IT TOGETHER charity foundation established to implement the Saving Lives humanitarian project. His involvement will help the initiative strengthen cooperation with the university community.

Along with his research and medical activities, Manuel Tunon De Lara was also President of the Universities of Bordeaux II (L'université Bordeaux-II, 2008-2013) and Bordeaux (Université de Bordeaux, 2014-2022). He has been the President of France Universités, a community of French university rectors, since 2020.

Saving Lives has embarked on a new direction to support students in the front-line regions by providing them with humanitarian assistance. Thus, students of Mariupol State University have already received 300 food packages. The competencies and expertise of Manuel Tunon De Lara will help attract wider international university community to support their Ukrainian colleagues, and the geography and scope of humanitarian supplies will be growing.

Earlier, an expert in steel industry Horst Wiesinger and an expert in employment relations Maria Grimaldi joined the Saving Lives Programme Council.
